Hey guys! Today I thought I would show you a makeup look I created with one of my favorite new palettes, the Make Up For Ever 15 Artist Shadow Palette from Sephora. In this look I gave you two options - a classic red lip and then a more natural lip look.
Santa hat: Rite Aid
Christmas bulb necklace: Disney World
White shirt: Old Navy
Here's everything I used to achieve the look:
For the face:
Sephora Perfection Mist Airbrush Foundation
Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder
Nars Laguna Bronzer
Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Powder in Candlelight
Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Hot Tamale
For the eyes:
Jordana Best Lash Extreme Mascara
Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in Deep Blue
Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in Blackest Black
Anastasia Brow Wiz (not pictured)
Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade in Chocolate
I did bring in a second palette to use alongside the MUFE one as I needed a matte crease color and a matte browbone highlight. The MUFE palette is EXCELLENT, but not what I would consider an everything-you-need-in-one palette. This is more a luxury palette to use in addition to a couple of other shadows, because it doesn't contain any matte shadows. The palette is so great and the shadows are such good quality that I have NO problem doing that.
For the look I first put the gold shadow (bottom row 2nd one over) on my entire lid, then I dipped my finger in the lighter taupe-y shadow (first row 1st one) on the center of my lid. I then went into the blue shadow and blended that out in the outer corner of my lid and up into the crease, and I also ran some along my lower lash line.
I then went into my Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar palette and blended everything (top and bottom) with Peanut Butter and Puddin'.
The two lipsticks I used were the Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Crème in So Rouge and Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lipstick in Lust For Blush.
And that's it! Let me know what makeup looks are your favorite this time of year and what products you are loving right now. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
