Fall 2015 MOTD: Purple And Gold Smoky Eye

Hey guys!  It's that wonderful time of year again...my FAVORITE time of year....FALL!!!  (If you want to get technical it's actually in 5 days, but close enough!!!)  This time of year the weather is perfect, the attire is perfect, and makeup trends tend to go deep and dark and sexy.  (Who couldn't love that?)  One of my favorite makeup looks to rock is a super smoky purple and gold, always with a little sparkle.  Scroll on down to see what products I used on this particular day, and also click on the video right below for a quick overview!

I go for looks that are super wearable and daytime appropriate, but still sexy.  I like for my colors to pop a little, but I don't want my makeup look to be something you'd expect to see with a Halloween costume.  It's a fine line, lol.

My makeup looks are all basically the same in terms of what types of shadows I use where.  I always use a satin or shimmery shade on my lid, a matte mid tone crease shade, matte dark shades in the outer corner to smoke it out, a matte or satin brow bone highlight, and a shimmery or glittery inner corner.  So all of my looks are basically just choosing which shadows to use.  As of late I have REALLY been loving a super shimmery/glittery inner corner, like VERY glittery, lol.
