Hey guys! I re-subscribed to Birchbox 2 months ago and people....they are knocking it out of the park! I flat out LOVE this month's box, it is full of stuff I will actually use. Ugh, let's just get to it!
I never used to keep the actual boxes, but I swear, they have been so stinkin cute this time around that I just can't throw them away!
I received a Liz Earle facial cleanser/polish and a muslin cloth from Birchbox before, so this is just the 2nd thing from the line I have ever tried. I LOVE the face wash and cloth I have, so I was really excited to get this. The spray on this is very concentrated, so you will either want to spray it up in the air and let it mist down on your face (if you are wearing makeup), or you can just spray it directly on your face for a pick-me-up on days you are bare faced. Feels great, super refreshing, and so so good for your skin. This is actually a toner, but you can use it on clean skin or over makeup. This is alcohol free and it refreshes, soothes and brightens skin with chamomile, cucumber, vitamin E, etc. Plus, it smells like roses.
Perfect.
While I am not a huge Bumble and Bumble fan, I do look forward to trying this Thickening Hairspray. I love travel size hairsprays, they're just so handy for on-the-go!
I purchased a facial sunscreen (it's actually labeled as a BB Cream) from Coola earlier this Summer from Sephora, and I have totally been loving it. I was beyond excited to get this organic Green Tea and Aloe Makeup Setting Spray from the line. The neatest part? It has an SPF of 30! This is perfect to pair with foundations that don't contain any sunscreen! It gives a lightweight matte finish, has cucumber and aloe vera extract to soothe and refresh skin, hyaluronic acid to soften/tone/rehydrate the skin to reduce the appearance of pores/fine lines/wrinkles, etc. I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds like this stuff was tailor made for me!
I am a fan of Dr. Jart products in general, so of course I was pleasantly surprised to see this product in the box. I hadn't ever heard of this - their Ceramidin line. So, I went on over to Sephora's website to read more about it. It's actually really highly rated and a fan favorite. Basically this is a moisturizing serum that protects your skin barrier from chronic water loss with ceramides. It is paraben/sulfate/phthalate free and feels LOVELY on the skin. Looooveeeee this!
I love me a good, bright lip (especially this time of year) and the color of this liquid lipstick from Stila blew my socks off. So gorgeous!
This is one of those type lip products that dries like paint on your lips. In theory they make sense and I want to like them, but I have a hard time wearing them well. After a little while they wear off kind of funny on my bottom lip and I end up having to scrub them off. This is so pretty though!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
