Hey guys! I recently tried a recipe I found on YouTube and I had to share it with you! It's sooooo yummy! I am not taking credit for this, this is not my lovely creation. This recipe was featured on one of Bethany Mota's videos and I think everyyyyyyone should have it. It's super simple and easy and I think most people would love it.
What you're gonna need:
OR
Recipe:
4 cups milk (any kind you like)
8oz white chocolate morsels
2 tsp vanilla OR imitation vanilla
1/4 tsp peppermint
*tip: I used whole milk in mine thinking it would make this even more tasty. However, with the milk and chocolate and vanilla this is super rich, I think 1% or 2% milk would probably be the best. This was yummy, but it was so sweet and rich it was on the verge of being too much. My recommendation....but do as you please!
Put it all in a saucepan over medium heat and cook until everything is melted/mixed well and is nice and hot. Make sure to stir this quite often as milk is prone to scorching and that would NOT be good. This makes several servings, so I refrigerated what I had leftover. When it's cold there is a little bit of a sugary film that develops, but that goes away when you reheat it. I poured this cold (thru a strainer) into a glass and enjoyed this chilled as well!
Adding a topping is optional, I actually prefer mine plain as it is SO rich and creamy on it's own. But if you would like a topping on yours her recipe called for Reddi Wip and crushed peppermint candy.
Cheers! Hope you guys enjoy this recipe as much as I did! If you have any questions feel free to leave them below, and you can also watch Bethany's video here.
