Christmas Inspired Makeup: Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar

Hey guys!  When we think of Christmas inspired makeup looks the first thing that usually pops in our heads is the quintessential red lip.  And while I have been known to rock a crimson hue from time to time, it's not something I do very often.  I think you have to rock whatever it is God gave ya, and for me it is not a big, full pout.  I have barely-there lips and I am never 100% comfortable sporting a daring lip look.  Instead of having big plump lips, what probably sticks out the most on my face are my eyes.  So, I tend to go with a dramatic eye and a more neutral lip, that just looks better on me.  Here is a look that I came up with for a Christmas concert I attended with my family. 

As I mentioned in a previous blog post, I picked up the Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette last week when Sephora sent out their $20 VIB gift cards.  This has been the best purchase EVER!  This palette is perfection, it rivals my tried and true most-loved palettes that I own.  We are talking Holy Grail status here, I could not love this more.  HIGHLY recommend <333

For this look I used Coconut Creme on my browbone, Butter Pecan on my lid, Nougat and Peanut Butter in my crease and to blend everything out, Puddin in my outer V and on lower lashline, and Blueberry Swirl also in my outer V and to smoke out the lower lashline.  I lined my waterline with Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Junkie - a beautiful metallic teal shimmer with gold micro sparkle.  The eyeliner is shiny and beautiful but not irritating to your eyes at all, and I have the most sensitive eyes in the world.  

The green eyeliner and the blue eyeshadow really made this a festive look.  It was nothing too over the top or vibrant, but was still colorful enough to be noticeable.
