Smashbox "The Santigolden Age Be Legendary Lipstick Ring"

Hey everyone!  Today I thought I would share with you a ring I recently ordered from Sephora.  It's by Smashbox and it's from their Santigold collection.  It had been $50 and I got it half-price ($25).  

Basically it's this really big gold snake ring, and the top slides over and there is a lipstick inside.

The lipstick is in the shade "Still Kickin" and it's a really pretty pink that can also be worn on the cheeks as a blush.

This ring is no joke, it's super big and sturdy.

Definitely not an everyday kind of ring, but I think it is something I would wear when I want a little bling.  Probably something I would wear on our Vegas trips.  I think this would also be nice to wear on those occasions where you don't really want to carry a bag.  Having a lipstick on you like this could really come in handy.  Do any of you guys have this?  What are your thoughts?  One thing I will mention, the simple weight of this ring really weighs my finger down and turns my finger red.  Not because it's tight (it's actually a little loose) but just from the weight alone of the ring.  All in all I think these limited edition jewelry pieces are really nice to have, and I'm glad I found it so cheap!  Thanks for stopping by guys and have a great rest of the week!!!  xoxoxo -

Prepping For Fall: Small Clothing Haul (Zara, ASOS, Nordstrom, Danskin)

Hey guys!  Here are a few items I picked up recently for Fall.  I'm all about comfy black leggings, and this year I am trying to invest in a few nicer pairs.  I love throwing on plaid shirts and big chunky cardigans with them, so I picked up a couple of those as well.  Love this time of year!!!  xoxo

These Hue leggings from Nordstrom are some of my favorite that I have ever owned!  I LOVE the big, wide waistband.

I have been trying to research which leggings have the best ratings and which brands are the most recommended, etc.  I found an article that included both the Hue and Danskin brands.  According to this particular article, Vera Wang's favorite leggings are the Danskin Classic Supplex ones, which retail for about $42.  I know Walmart carries some items from the brand, but not these.  I had to order these from the Danskin website, and they really are quite nice.

NOTD: Essie Smokin' Hot

Hey everyone!  With Fall officially starting in exactly 2 more days (YAY), I couldn't help but break out one of my favorite Fall polishes for my manicure.  Essie's Smokin Hot is a GORGEOUS purplish dark brown, and is hands down one of my favorite colors to wear this time of year.  My polish photographed a little dark, it is much lighter in person.  Anyways, here it is!

Creamy and beautiful and applies flawlessly.  Highly, highly, highly recommend this polish if you haven't tried it yet.  Muuuuaaahhh!

Mexican Turkey Wraps!

Hey guys!  Quick/easy/versatile recipe idea for today!  There are endless ways you could make a wrap, today I went for a mexican/taco version.  For mine I used ground turkey, black beans, tomatoes, peppers, onions, lettuce, cheese, salsa, and some chipotle dressing. 

I diced up my veggies and froze what I didn't use, so that I could use it later for other recipes. 

I browned my turkey and onion in a skillet. 

Towards the end I threw in my peppers just to slightly heat them basically. I like for my veggies to still have a bite to them, I do not cook them till they're mushy. 

For convenience sake I threw everything together (with the heat off).  Tomatoes, beans, etc. 

I added a pinch of kosher salt...

...and some fresh black pepper. 

I first laid out my wrap and some leaf lettuce

Then I layered on some of my meat mixture, followed by a sprinkle of cheese and some taco sauce. Wrap it up and slice it on an angle and you are done!  (I forgot to take a pic of the finished wrap...oops!)  

If you are not into wraps you could always enjoy this same meal on a bed of mixed greens or lettuce. Super delish that way as well!

Date Night ❤️

Hey everyone!  Quick look of the day for a super casual date night.  I only wear makeup about one day a week, but here lately when I do wear it, it has been more dramatic and heavy.  On this day I opted for a more natural look, wearing only mascara on my eyes.  This is definitely what I wear more often when I actually do take the time to wear makeup.  Super quick and easy, yet it still gives you a more put together look.  Hope you guys enjoy and have a happy Sunday!

Target Haul!

Hey guys!  Here's a few things I picked up from Target a couple of weeks ago!  I absolutely love some of these, so hurry up and grab them while they're still available!!!

I picked up 2 candles from Chesapeake Bay Candle in Pumpkin Spice and Lemon Macaroon.  Both of these smelled amazinggggg in the jar, but I only enjoyed 1 after I started burning them.  The Lemon Macaroon, which I so loved straight out of the jar, had zero smell when I lit it.  I burned it for probably 2 hours and smelled NOTHING.  I tried it again the following day, again nothing, and I just ended up putting it on a candle warmer to try and use it that way.  Even on the candle warmer I never smelled anything from this candle!  Such a disappointment.  The Pumpkin Spice one, however, is lovely.

Cute little hand soap for the kitchen.

I picked up 3 packs of Glade plug-ins, 1 Pumpkin Pie Diner and 2 Maple Tree Inn.  Every year Glade comes out with pumpkin and maple scented products, and each year they seem to improve each of them.  This year is no exception, the maple is better than it's ever been!

A baggy tee for wearing around the house.  Target t-shirts are so comfy <3

I love the Gilligan and O'Malley pajamas, they are sooooo soft and cozy.  I picked up this soft gray short set, and a long sleeve pant set in gray as well.

Both sets of these are buttery soft and are so comfortable.  I've already slept in both sets and I love them!

Gray waffle-knit robe also by Gilligan and O'Malley. This had originally been $25 and I got it on clearance for $17!

Their stuff is such good quality, and quite affordable too.

I only picked up 1 makeup item, the Sonia Kashuk Eye On Neutral 02 Palette.  So many gorgeous shades in this, numerous matte midtone shades for blending out the crease, I absolutely love it.

Such a great quality palette!  (For $20 it should be though, right??)  I honestly highly recommend this product!!!

And no haul is complete without some yummy snacks.  Picked up some candy corn flavored M&M's and Hershey's. Perfect to sit out in your candy dishes this time of year!!!
