Nothing like shopping your stash and rediscovering old favorites! The past few weeks I have been doing this and have really fallen back in love with several products. I have a horrible habit of using something for a couple of weeks, buying something new, and then scooting everything back out of the way,and before you know it I basically have a small drugstore at my house! I am so ashamed to say this, but I counted all the shampoo and conditioner bottles I had in my shower and around my tub, and I had 37. This does not include deep conditioners/hair treatments/etc. Some of these bottles only had maybe 5 or so uses left in them. I have been on a mission to use up some of this stuff! In the past 3 months or so I have used up 12 bottles of that shampoo and conditioner. I'm down to 25 which is still a lot, but much better than 37. Geesh. Anyways, let's get to some of the body/skincare products that I've been loving.
Aveeno
Pictured: 1. Eczema Therapy Moisturizing Cream - this has been great as my skin is healing from falling and after getting poison oak. This lotion is extremely gentle and moisturizing. Love it. $14.99 for 7.3oz.
2. Positively Radiant Brightening Cleanser - I have been using this as my nighttime cleanser and love it. Don't know if it actually brightens my complexion any, but it does make my skin feel baby soft. $6.99 for 6.7oz.
3. Smart Essentials Pore Purifying Facial Wash - I rotate this in the morning with another one of my cleansers. It has a fresh, citrus smell that helps wake you up. Your face feels super clean after you wash with this, very mild and gentle as always. $6.47 for 6oz.
4. Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer - I have been using this during the day since it does have SPF 15 in it. Great alone or under makeup, not too heavy or greasy. $14.99 for 4oz.
Burt's Bees Citrus Facial Scrub - this stuff is unlike anything I've ever used before. I've had this little jar for over 2 years, so I obviously don't use it everyday (although you totally could). It's a really natural face scrub with ground almonds, oats and pecans to exfoliate your skin. Smells yummy and makes your face feel fresh and dewy. $8.00 for 2oz.
Pacifica Indian Coconut Nectar Take Me There Set - $17.99 from Target.
If you've never tried anything from Pacifica, omgsh, you are missing out. They have absolutely delicious smelling products, the Indian Coconut Nectar scent has always been my favorite. In this set you get a 2.5oz body butter, a perfume rollerball and a full-size Color Quench Lip Tint (bronzey-nude color).
Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula Deep Conditioning Protein Pack $1.47 at Target.
EVERY time I walk in Target I grab a few of these. I loveeeee doing deep conditioning treatments with coconut oil, so obviously I love buying deep conditioners that have it in it. This one by Palmer's smells SO good! It's thick and moisturizing and I love how soft my hair feels when I use it. Cheap and affordable yet so good for your hair. No bad stuff like sulfates or parabens. LOVE.
Now on to some Body Shop items. First up, the Vitamin C Daily Moisturizer SPF 30.
Excellent daily moisturizer, it's full of Vitamin C to help improve collagen production and elasticity. Great SPF, not too greasy.
My goodness. If you haven't tried these, DO. That's all I gots to say.
Pictured: Vineyard Peach. Smells so juicy and sweet. Ughhhhh. Heavenly.
$20 for 6.9oz
Shea Body Scrub
An organic sugar scrub to exfoliate your skin to supple softness. Love all their scrubs, but really love this light scent in particular.
$6 for 1.65oz or $20 for 7.9oz
Another Body Butter. This one is the mini Cocoa Butter Body Butter.
Every year Victoria's Secret Pink comes out with these limited edition body mists. This one came out last year or the year before and it is in Passionfruit Hibiscus. It smells delicious and is basicallly summer in a bottle. Light and airy but so feminine, I always keep one of these on hand. I probably won't buy any this year since I still have so much left over from last year. But whatever scent they come out with, that's usually what I grab and use that summer.
And last but not least, the Essence Silky Touch Blushes. So cheap and affordable, these blushes feel like they should be high-end! Super creamy and blendable, I highly recommend you pick up one (or four) of these!
Thanks for stopping by guys! Let me know what products you're reaching for! Have a great week!
