Happy Monday, Folks! Thought I'd show you a few new makeup goodies from Sephora! Yay! It seems like all the different makeup lines are coming out with new and exciting products for the spring months ahead, and I can hardly stand it. Such great stuff coming out daily it seems!
They have had these manicure strips on clearance on their website for quite some time. I've eyed them several times an finally broke down and just got them. I am a sucker for candy cane nails at Christmas. They were $5/pack, I got me and my mom one. (Each pack comes with the candy cane nails and the moose/stripe nails).
Funny fact: I hate when palettes come with the little clear plastic sleeve with the name of the shadows on it, and it's not listed anywhere else on the package. I don't want to be annoyed with that piece of plastic everytime I open my palette, but I want to know the name of my shadows. So I usually end up taping that piece of plastic somewhere on my palette. It's out of the way, yet I can still tell what shades I'm using. Might not be the prettiest thing to do to your palettes, but it works. Several of mine are like this! I don't really mind, it works for me.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light. If you're not familiar with the ambient powders, they were designed to diffuse and soften the way light reflects on your skin. Diffused Light, the shade I chose, is a soft, warm, pale yellow that reduces redness, eliminates shine, and gives skin clarity. If these weren't $45/piece I'd be tempted to try all of them!
Too cute to not own, the Sephora Z Palette. I have a couple regular Z Palettes, both the larger size, but really wanted this Sephora striped one. Plus, I didn't have one this smaller size. Adorable and only $18.
Deborah Lippmann Nail Lacquer in Naked ($18). A great opaque nude. My mom has this and I always thought it was gorgeous. Bought myself my own finally!
Stila Color Balm Lipstick in Gemma ($22). The website claims this creamy lip color has the full pigment of a lipstick, the nourishing properties of a balm, and the shine of a gloss. I have to say, this feels amazing on your lips. And the color is a really pretty, bright, wearable pink violet. Love!
YouTube made me buy it! Again! The Too Faced La Creme Lipstick in Lollipop ($22). This rich, creamy lipstick is so moisturizing and beautiful. I never thought I would love a Too Faced lipstick more than my Marshmallow Bunny. This bad boy might have done it. And omgsh, the smell. These smell crazy good. Seriously, you want to eat them!
Yep, you guessed it. YouTube made me buy it....again. Seen this on someone's video and I fell in LOVE. Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Native ($22). Ooh la la, such a rich and buttery lipstick. It is infused with jojoba oil, avocado oil, cocoa butter and shea butter and feels just HEAVENLY on your lips. Perfect light pink nude lipstick. Ahh.
Sephora Collection Pro Airbrush Concealer #57 brush ($24). I'm not 100% sure why I ordered this. I always use my F86 brush for undereye concealer, but I thought this would be handy to swipe on some Bare Minerals Well-Rested or some other setting powder. It is a really well made brush and I think I'll get some use out of it. I'm also gonna mention the packaging. I don't really ever hear anyone say how good Sephora packages their brushes. It came with this plastic hood on the end of it that clipped off and on. Such nice details, Sephora <3
Sephora Glossy Gloss in Tangy Bite ($5). This was on clearance and they are now sold out of it. It looks a little intimidating in the tube, but it goes on much more sheer. Gives your lips a really wet look. Perfect purpley look for the 2014 radiant orchid trend! Love this!
Love all these!! Miss you =-(
