Drugstore Goodies: NYX Butter Lipsticks, Cheap Makeup Storage, And More!

Hey guys!  Hope you're enjoying this warm weekend before the cold moves back in (for the east coast anyways).  I wanted to share with you a few things I've picked up at the drugstore that I am enjoying. I like to mention things fairly soon after I get them so you can still find them before they get gone!

Suave has some products that I LOVE (Humectant Shampoo, Moroccan Oil Shampoo/Conditioner), and when I seen the commercial for these I knew I had to try them. It's the Suave Natural Infusion Shampoo/Conditioner with Macadamia Oil. It's paraben/sulfate free and supposed to be comparable to Pureology. I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but I have no doubt it will be great. The Suave products in this Infusion line are superb. (At least what I've tried).  And it's dirt cheap, which is always a plus. 

Love this guy. My hair is naturally wavy/dry, and this conditions it so well. I've went through numerous tubs of this. You would honestly think you're using a department store brand, but you can nab this puppy at any drugstore. Love. 

Even though it's still winter and I am still using some winter scents, I couldn't resist grabbing these. It's a limited edition scent, Lift Off, and is just really light and clean. That is always a good switch every now and then, especially when you've been burning up the cinnamon, clove, pumpkin, vanilla, etc. All those rich, lingering scents.  As always I put the Glade candle in my mini BBW candle holder. They fit perfectly!

Does this stuff even work?  I have seen it on tv and thought I would give it a whirl. I don't have skin tags, but I have these little raised areas on my face that will NOT go away. Not zits, not blackheads, not whiteheads, just flesh tone little bumps. I'm desperate to get rid of them so I thought this couldn't hurt. 

YouTube made me buy it!  If I would quit watching so many videos my wallet would be much fatter, lol.  Emilynoel83 mentioned this lipgloss and lipstick in her Emily Awards:  Rimmel Gloss in Endless Summer (gorgeous) and Milani Lipstick in Fruit Punch (bright pink).  The blush is a Dream Bouncy blush by Maybelline in Orchid Hush. Unfortunately, this is SO light it barely shows up at all on me. If you have a light complexion this would be so pretty.  I am a medium/olive skin tone, and it is just too light.  I hadn't ever seen this ColorIcon single from WNW before, and it is sooooo pretty. It's in the shade Cheeky. A gorgeous shimmery pinky fuscia. 

I had to grab me a few of the new NYX Butter Lipsticks, as they are becoming so popular with everyone on YouTube. They didn't disappoint (NYX rarely does).  I got 4 of them:  

(Snow Cap, Pops, Cotton Candy, Sugar Wafer)

I also got two of the Butter Lip Balms, in Marshmallow and Ladyfingers. Loveeeee!!!

Marlena @ MakeupGeek mentioned this NYX blush on her channel, so of course I had to grab this while I was at it. It's in Taupe, and is a muted, matte brown shade. She said its good to contour with, and I can't wait to try it. 

I ordered all of my NYX products directly from the NYX website. They sent me this makeup sponge in a travel case along with my order.   NYX is not available at any drugstore accept for some Targets, but it is drugstore priced and is superb quality. If you haven't tried anything in the line, definitely do. You won't be disappointed!

And the last things I'm going to share today are two organizers I found at the Dollar General Store. One was $4 and the other was $3.  They are very pretty and sturdy, and make excellent makeup storage containers. 

I have SO many makeup palettes, I thought the larger one would be great to put my Naked Palettes in and my Coastal Scents 88 Palette. It seems I never have a good place to put that one. I didn't know if it would fit or not, and was SO happy it did!  Perfect!

This held several palettes, (12 to be exact) all at varying levels which makes it easy to see what all is there. (Pictured:  CS 88 Palette, The Balm Nude'tude, Naked Palettes (1,2, and 3), Lorac Pro Palette, Mac, Stila x2, Mally, Sleek, and Elf)

For now I decided to put some NYX lip products in this other one:  some butter glosses, balms, and lipsticks, mega shine lipglosses, some matte lipsticks, and some lip creams.  You could very easily change this out seasonally or whatever. So handy.
