I have known for a while that I wanted to do a 'Best in Beauty' post, but knew it was gonna take a while and would be hard to do. Trying to pick your favorite blush or highlighter? That's like asking a mom to pick her favorite child, lol. Super hard, but I have pretty much compiled a list for you guys. I'm gonna do it a little different - I'm going to list my favorite high-end as well as drugstore favorites. In some categories I might not have had a favorite in both categories, but I did in most. In order for something to be listed here, it had to be something I used and used and used in 2013 and really loved. Tried and true products here. I made it a point to not pick anything limited or special edition, I wanted to talk about products you can find. The biggest problem I had in doing this was only picking 1 item, so in a few of the categories I have multiples. Sorry. I really tried to keep things at a minimum. So let's get to it. Btw...how do you guys write down all your stuff? Myself, I keep journals to write notes/ideas in. I don't journal, I jot. In nice, expensive, leather journals. LOVE these, I got both of them at target. The pink one is a buttery soft leather and the brown one is a luxe/shiny Italian leather. Just thought I would mention them, as you will see my scribbling in the background of my photos.
